Real Time Road Surface

Recently I have been doing a bit of experimentation with Road Surfaces. I have added an image of what I have managed to create.

This is a real time model which could be used in any game or simulation engine such as Unity 3D, hence why it is a view port render. It uses diffuse, normal and specular maps to achieve the look.


  1. Hi Mark, before i use bump and specular, but now i use the shader "Specular map, multi & ADD"

  2. Very Nice, my image is straight from the 3Ds Max viewport, not in rFactor so the shader is unavailable in the system I was working on, maybe one day I will put it into rFactor though and use the shader you recommended.
